Violations and Fines
The Company reserves the right to impose fines for violations committed by the Driver while
operating under the Company's authority. The following fine structure shall apply:
- Failure to stop at weigh station: $1000 fine
- Violations in DOT inspection: Fine ranging from $300, depending on severity
- Out of service violation: $1000 fine
- Logbook violation: $2000 fine
- Safety violation (speeding, handheld phone, no belt etc.): $2000 fine
The Driver shall be financially responsible for safety violations or penalties only when the Driver is
determined to be at fault. Violations caused by circumstances beyond the Driver’s control will be
reviewed by the Company on a case-by-case basis.
Rewards for Passing Inspections
The Company will provide rewards to the Driver for passing inspections without violations. The
following reward structure shall apply:
- Passing Level 1 inspection without violations: $300 reward
- Passing Level 2 inspection without violations: $200 reward
- Passing Level 3 inspection without violations: $100 reward
